Peacework Medical serves an extremely medically-underserved, Spanish-speaking, LGBT and vulnerable population and relies on 100% volunteer service to operate its free clinic and related health services in Phoenix, Arizona. Spanish interpreters, health professionals and students are welcome. Privacy and cultural sensitivity are paramount, with education and hands-on, low-resource treatments favored over expensive or time-consuming interventions. Seek to empower and build capacity in each person’s life when you volunteer!
Patients are seen on the first Sunday of each month, starting at 9:30AM. Dress code is scrubs. Upon arriving, introduce yourself and get ready to work! Health professionals and students must bring a laptop.
The clinic is located near I17/Indian School and the address will be made available to applicants upon acceptance. Email Dr. Sean for more information.
