NWB’s projects in Haiti, Thailan, Mexico and Phoenix are all volunteer-staffed. Click the following links for more information about volunteering at each site:
Haiti Volunteers work with us in the Cap Haitien, Haiti area for a minimum of one week. We accept volunteers with a medical background, medical students, as well as community volunteers. Volunteers stay in our volunteer house and have the opportunity to see Haiti from a medical, community, cultural and tourist perspective.
Thailand Volunteers travel to the northern hill tribes of Thailand to work with Dr. David Mar Naw. Join us in supporting a tireless champion for community health who supports 43 villages.
Mexico Volunteers work with us in Puerto Peñasco “Rocky Point”, Mexico one weekend each month. We accept volunteers with a medical background, medical students, as well as community volunteers. We leave from Tempe, AZ on Friday evening to drive to Mexico, stay in hotels, have clinic on Saturday and return to Tempe on Sunday.
Phoenix Volunteers work with us at Peacework (an LGBTQI clinic for the underserved) monthly on Sundays.
